PICs conduct the following activities:

• Develop a practice improvement agenda based on service delivery needs and identify evidence-based practices that address those needs;



• Promote the adoption of evidence-based practices through educational and technical support activities, e.g., newsletters, clearinghouses, conferences, workshops, and presentations on best practices and implementation strategies;



• Implement practice improvement projects in CBOs; and



• Evaluate the implementation and sustainability of evidence-based practices in CBOs.
