Each PIC conducts multiple projects to implement practice improvements in CBOs. Each project is conducted by a PIC team that:

• Assesses CBO readiness to implement the practice improvement, e.g., existing knowledge, skills, attitudes, and practices of clinical and administrative staff, and organizational supports/barriers;



• Develops implementation strategies tailored to the needs of the CBOs and their client populations, e.g., identification/adaptation of evidence-based practice protocols, skills training/reinforcement; organizational incentives and supports; and



• Evaluates the process of implementation and the effectiveness of the implementation strategies.
